All the High Quality photos will be replaced by Original Quality photos.Select all photos and drag all the photos and drop them in the window.But you have to do it again in your browser Go to Settings and disabling Backup & sync. You might have made this in your phone/app already. Once your photos have been synced, switch Backup & sync off. So based on the "upload mode" of the device, google chooses whether to replace the already present quality.If either of the hash are present, google knows the photo is present already.It also calculates a hash for OG quality photo.If you upload a photo, google compresses it to "High Quality mode" and calculates a hash for it. ![]() So the idea is different devices can have different quality to upload.
